Hello everyone!
I know you're just now finding out about this blog, because I haven't designed my blog to my liking, but this design will have to do for now. If you don’t know me, or don’t know the full story I recommend starting with “Brain Tumor Backstory”. If you know the details and you were with me the day of my surgery then start here :-).

So today was my first radiation treatment, I wasn’t nervous, or scared (maybe because I’ve been researching radiation treatment). Which is surprising because when I first looked up radiation treatment the mask freaked me out, it’s reminds me of something you’d wear in a torture chamber & I remember thinking “I hope I never have to wear one of those” and I’m also kind of claustrophobic so the mask definitely scared me a bit. However, although my mask fits tightly onto my face, I didn’t have a panic attack & I almost fell asleep but was afraid of my techs coming in with drool on my face lol it happens. It doesn’t take very long, I lay down, and my techs put the mask over my face and attached the mask to the bench I was laying on. I would have to say that the most annoying thing about the treatment was the beeping the machine makes, it’s a high pitched beeping but other than that it went pretty well.
